The NFL Pick 6 – Week 3

We’re back again for another week of NFL Sunday Funday and with that comes The NFL Pick 6 – Week 3. Last week, The Pick 6 went 3-3 to make it an even 6-6 on the season. Total mediocrity. I know. But, we’ll try to do better starting today. This week’s slate of games are highlighted by the desperation of 0-2 squads like the Colts, Seahawks, Eagles, Lions, and Ravens. All of whom were expected to be playoff contenders at the least. Starting 0-3 would not be advised for either of them. Should be an interesting day of football. So, on to the picks….

Eagles at Jets (-1.5)

The Eagles are one of those 0-2 squads. But, it’s not a crime to lose at Atlanta and and at home to the Cowboys. It’s the way they lost to Dallas that has Eagles fans hitting the panic button. Now, add to that no DeMarco Murray for today’s game, and Chip Kelly all of a sudden has some serious issues. It doesn’t help that the opponent today has one of the nastier looking defenses in the NFL. However, I expect to see a better showing from the Eagles today. It just won’t be enough. Take the Jets and the 1.5 by a field goal.

Steelers at Rams (-1)

Le’Veon Bell is back for the Steelers from his two-game suspension. That gets Big Ben Roethlisberger and company back to full strength, at least skill player wise anyway. The Rams are one of the better teams up front defensively and will test the Steelers O-Line without their main man, Maurkice Pouncey. Expect a tight game in St. Louis. But, in the end, Antonio Brown and company find a way. Take the Steelers.

Chargers at Vikings (-1)

The Chargers have had a pretty tough start to their schedule. Things don’t get much easier today with a trip to Minneapolis. The Vikings rebounded nicely after the opening Monday night loss to the 49ers, with a win over Detroit. Look for them to repeat that feat today. Take the Vikings.

Falcons (-1) at Cowboys

The Falcons are 2-0, and they’ve both come against the NFC East. They were lucky to hold off the Eagles week one, and they were lucky the Giants couldn’t hold them off last week. That doesn’t give me a whole lot of confidence, even against a Cowboys squad without their number one and two weapons on offense. But, it’s hard to imagine the Cowboys scoring very much against a pretty decent Falcons D. So, we’ll Take the Falcons in another nail-biter.

Bills at Dolphins (-1.5)

Look for the Bills to rebound nicely from the pounding they suffered last week to the Patriots. Take the Bills straight up over the Dolphins.
49ers at Cardinals (-6.5)

Carson Palmer, and the Cards are one of the more impressive teams so far. As long as, Palmer is healthy, the Cards are a serious threat to the Seahawks. Their a serious threat to the Niners today. Take Arizona.

Thanks for reading and enjoy your NFL Sunday Funday!
